I had a chance to visit Sushi Delight because a friend told me about it. As I entered in, the staff greeted me and sat me down in a table. The restaurant was very clean and I enjoyed watching the sports program on the big screen TV in the corner (the Lakers were on). Well, I do not eat much sushi so I was quite nervous at eating at a Japanese cuisine restaurant. However, the waitress recommended me the "chicken teriyaki box." The box is a combination of chicken teriyaki, rice, salad, california rolls (4 pc.), and shrimp and vegetable tempura. I enjoyed eating this meal, as it had a variety of things to eat. The salad and dressing was fresh and delicious. I was told the dressing was home-made and they refer to it as "Oriental dressing." Anyways, the meal was delicious, plentiful, and very fair-priced. Overall, I enjoyed dining there and I plan to visit there frequently due to their prices and good meals.

"What a change! Everything was set up well"
Three years ago, my boyfriend and I moved to Lomita. I used to live in Lakewood, before that, San Pedro. It seemed my dad always had the sushi hook ups. He went to a place, and bc of our frequent visiting, was known to everyone in the restaurant. I had longed for my own hook ups, established by me. We had gone to this restaurant before it was sushi delight. Not very appealing, but the sushi was okay. We decided to go back awhile later. What a change! Everything was set up well. I liked the scenery. The sushi was even better. Our first visit to sushi delight offered "happy hour." More like "hours." I've never heard of this at a sushi restaurant (well, I have, but not as good). We decided that this would be our spot. Three years later, and with one more addition to my family (our daughter), we are still going. Jerry, yes, still there and the coolest dude ever! Offers great suggestions to my boyfriend, each time. I've recommended it to my brother, and when I get a chance, I will have my dad take part in my own hook up. Always satisfying.

"Sushi Delight is what I consider a hidden treasure"
I was very fortunate enough to travel to the beautiful sunny California. Upon traveling in southern California a close friend had referred me to a restaurant in Lomita on the Pacific Coast Highway called Sushi Delight. Sushi Delight is what I consider a hidden treasure. I can say that this restaurant is positioned in a not-so-obvious location, nestled in a small shopping center among big chain merchants such as Big Lots and ice cream eatery Cold Stone. Though nestled in a big shopping center it was very easy for a tourist such as me to locate Sushi Delight due to the direct location off the famous Pacific Coast Highway.
Upon entrance of the restaurant I sensed a very casual, cozy and family-like atmosphere. The small but private restaurant has managed to create an ambiance that is comfortable for parents and their children and all the while creating a romantic dinner for two in private booths in a patio like setting. The layout of the restaurant is one that involves the customers and the sushi bar. I can not think of anything else that is satisfying than watching my food for consumption being prepared and to see who is preparing it. At Sushi Delight there are no mysteries and there are lies. The fish is fresh and the food is absolutely divine. My taste for sushi is one that is still at an amateur state so I am very sensitive to raw fish. After exclaiming to my waitress about my concerns she had at that point informed me that fresh sushi should never taste fishy in fact should smell and taste fresh just like an oceans breeze. Her point was proven.
A restaurant experience is whole when customer service is at its optimum level. This restaurant is one that amplifies customer service. All questions, needs and concerns were tended to. I had observed the wait staff and the management work very closely together which in turn made the flow of the restaurant smooth with no repercussions to the customers. The Sushi Delight staff was absolutely superb. Again, no mysteries and no lies, the combination of great food with stunning service creates the unforgettable dinning experience.

" Perfect Birthday Dinner!! "
We (party of 8) went to Sushi Delight for a birthday dinner. It was awesome!!! Some of us had never had sushi before and even they were extremely happy. The service was wonderful, and when the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised. My family and friends will be dining there often.
